“Job satisfaction affects unit readiness”
The NCOs and enlisted soldiers of the Croatian Air Force for January, February, May and June 2020 were presented with the certificates of commendation and extended congratulations by the Commander of the Croatian Air Force Brigadier General Michael Križanec, on their excellent performance, promotion of professionalism and initiative as well as on committed and honourable service. The NCO and enlisted soldier of the Croatian Air Force of January are Sergeant First Class Ivan Paleka Private Antonio Dragaš and of the 93rd Wing; the NCO of February is Sergeant First Class-Military Specialist Tomislav Turkalj of the Air Space Surveillance and Control Battalion; the NCO and enlisted soldier of May are Corporal Domagoj Ranogajec and Private Ante Granić of the 91st Wing; and Sergeant First Class Ivica Jurišić of the Croatian Air Force’s Training Centre “Rudolf Perešin“and Private Stjepan Madunić of the Air Space Surveillance and Control Battalion were proclaimed the NCO and the enlisted soldier of June.
The Commander of the Croatian Air Force underlined the importance of achieving and maintaining excellence in the service, and said that the awards for best performance served as motivation for the rest of the personnel of the Croatian Air Force to follow suit. The Commander appreciated the best performing enlisted soldiers and NCOs and called on them to continue encouraging their colleagues to strive for excellence, concluding that job satisfaction also affected the unit readiness. Sergeant First Class – Military Specialist Tomislav Turkalj delivered an address on behalf of the proclaimed enlisted soldiers and NCOs, stressing the importance of the group and of the cohesion for the mission completion.
