12th HRVCON completes FTX “HOT LOAD“

The members of the 12th HRVCON Force Protection Platoon operating in the Multinational Force Protection Company within the Respolute Support Mission in Afghanistan on 24 April conducted the Exercise FTX HOT LOAD, jointly with the German forces.

The Platoon’s main mission is protection of advisors and advisor teams – one of the most demanding ones in the area of operations, as well as patrolling outside the Camp Marmal and securing the camp.

The objective of the Exercise was to attain the capability of medical evacuation and securing of the Helipad landing zone (HLZ) in field conditions, in compliance with NATO’s communication, marking, guidance and securing procedures. The Platoon, commanded by 2nd Lieutenant Danijel Ivančik, confirmed the high level of trainedness, interoperability and ability to operate jointly with the allied forces in complex field and security conditions.
