The training range “Josip Markić” near Knin hosted the military exercise “Spremnost 20” which comprised national certification of the Motorised Company of the Battalion “Vukovi”, declared for the deployment in NATO’s Operation KFOR (HRVCON-TF KFOR). The tactical exercise displayed the attained level of unit capability to conduct stabilisation operations (security operations, protection of humanitarian convoy and securing freedom of movement).

The training range “Josip Markić” near Knin from 24 to 25 September 2020 hosted the national evaluation of the unit declared for the deployment in NATO’s Operation KFOR, to be stand-by during 2021.

The unit is the Motorised Company of the Battalion “Vukovi” of the Guards Mechanised Brigade of the Croatian Army, and the evaluation was conducted in two phases. The first – the In-Barracks Phase – features the checking of the plans and operational documents, the personnel status and the material and technical assets. In the second phase – the In-field phase the Company conducted a tactical exercise in which the TF-KFOR displayed the attained level of unit capability to conduct stabilisation operations (security operations, protection of humanitarian convoy and securing freedom of movement). The evaluation was conducted by the Evaluator Team of the Croatian Army, headed by Colonel Davor Fanton.
